I didn't post a pic because most of my CDs are in these 90-CD plastic trays, stacked underneath the overhang of my "dining nook" countertop.

Kinda unimpressive.

About 700-800 are in my WREKage CD bookets (3 x 200 or so) and in the rolling duffel I haul down to WREKage every Friday...which is also photographically unimpressive. :)

badcarburetor - Yessss, that's what I'm talking about. I'm always curious to see people's collections. And I don't know why I've never been into vinyl. I think the only metal record I have is WASP's "Fuck Like A Beast." Not sure how that happened, but there ya go.

Paul - Well, duffel bags are more impressive than, say, *cough*external hard drives*cough*.

Oh, I kid. I guess a hard drive is the new CD. I just ... have to be able to fondle my music every now and again.

I forgot to mention that I bring my 80Gb iPod down to WREKage, too.

Well, if you're gonna cry about it:

L-R: One CD shelf; my pleather-upholstered box of LPs; double-sided Case Logic box of cassettes; weird acrylic box that I probably stole from a retail gig filled with cassettes; other CD shelf. I think that's all of it. Oh, and the hard drive.

This is what happens when complete lunatics move to the suburbs.

Yes, my friend. This is precisely what happens.

Those were some fruity drinks we got at the Aladdin. My Cher doll is performing in the left one.

FYI that big screen TV came with the house. We were all "Wow! How generous!" and then later we realized there is no way they could have gotten it out. We think maybe the house was built around it.

Ha, I gotta say that your photo wins as usual, Diana. Major envy points for badcarburetor's arsenal though.

My collection is fairly unimpressive.

40 - 50 LP's: maybe half are metal, grind, or punk/hc the rest are everything from Elvis to Chicago to The Beatles.

30 - 40 7"s: 100% metal, punk, grind, etc.

2 10"s - Quadiliacha "Es Muerto" and Meathole Infection / Necrovore split

I also have a bunch of tapes floating around between my truck and my boom box of varying musical tastes.

I sold or lost most of my cd's at some point or another, though I have a few laying around. Really the only one's I've cared to keep track of are my Zeke cd's.
SPEWTILATOR - Badass motherfuckin' street cops with nothing to lose who don't play by the rules and are out for blood.

No current pics, but my music room is a fucking disaster area. Tons of vinyl, CDs and tapes on shelves, and a lot in piles on the damn floor.

Discogs.com says I have 3,541 things listed, and that's just a fraction of what I gots.

New house set up is finally photo ready.

My Dad (RIP) painted that bleak fucking painting. I love it. It's a caribou's skull that he carried to the top of a volcano in the Aleutian Islands during WWII and took a photo of it. Decades later he painted it.

Self explanatory:

CDs and box sets:

7"s and more Home Depot boxes of vinyl under the table.

Books, yeah they aren't music, but most of them are about music:

There's a box of 10"s that I haven't figured out where to put yet and a bunch of other crap that's still packed away that needs to be pared down and sold off.

Dear Baby Jesus, do I love vinyl.

What kinda crate/record store like display is that for the LPs?! I've seen those a few places and always fantasized about having a room in the house where I could finally hoard all the vinyl and not have it split between three places.

http://www.lpbin.com/

I've dreamed of having this room all my life. All my music is finally accessible. It's great. I've listened to so much music in the past month that it's crazy.

Viva the recession and foolios overextending themselves in the interest of flipping houses and getting foreclosed on!
