Yeah I don't think I'm going to do this either. Slayer is great but I just saw them (and they are playing pretty much the same set but maybe a few songs less), Megadeth I can't stand, and Anthrax I haven't really ever gotten into them.

Oh and this is kind of random but livenation has blackdiamondsky (mastodon, aic, deftones) lawn tickets for $10 till midnight.

Are they still doing that $10 ticket thing for this? I guess even if they are, after FEES it will be $26...

If it's a half-house show the "nosebleed" ticket might not be soooo bad.

I've heard rumors that Testament is opening. Any official word?

I looked at the Testament website just now and it doesn't have Atlanta Oct 1 listed. I looked at the Anthrax website, and they did have Oct 1 Duluth GA listed.

So I guess no, Testament is not opening the Atlanta date. But I think they are opening other dates on this tour before it gets here.

Well that sucks. Somebody told me this past weekend that they had heard that Alice in Chains was opening some dates. If that's true it will let me totally re-inact the original Clash of the Titans by providing an extra 40 minutes of drinking beer in the parking lot time.
