The whole album trend is pretty ghey, though I will admit to digging seeing Reign in Blood a few years back. As far as I know, that was the first time anyone did that, but I could easily be wrong. I'd be down for Hell Awaits, too, as that's my fave Slayer album. Still, I rather hear a mixed set that's just heavy with cuts from it.
I love Seasons.
But then, aside from Christ Illusion I like most of their stuff.
Let the joyous celebrations of Hell begin!

Plus, Seasons... Only tunes I like are "War Ensemble," "Dead Skin Mask," and "Hallowed Point."
"Expendable Youth," "Skeletons of Society," and "Blood Red" are all the same tune, right? And the title-track, peeeee-youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu.
I'm basically paying $50 to hear "Angel of Death" and "Chemical Warfare."
On the first leg, they didn't play Chemical Warfare. It's probably going to be the same.

That's $50 for "Angel of Death". I wouldn't immediately dismiss that as unreasonable.

I saw this in New Orleans yesterday. I missed Anthrax because of my own stupidity. Megadeth was just as good as when I saw them with Exodus and Testament only they played a shorter set and Dave didn't go into his usual monologue.
For those that are thinking about skipping out on Slayer you should know that they were much better than the last time I saw them. They seemed to be on key and they didn't have a bad sound at all. Besides the whole Seasons in the Abyss CD they opened with two songs from the new CD, which just reinforced the fact that I don't need to waste $15. After they got done playing the whole CD they played all their hit songs like South of Heaven, Raining Blood, and I think they played Chemical Warfare.
AND WHAT IS IT WITH TAPOUT DUDES AND SLAYER?!

Is Megadeth still doing Rust in full? Is Anthrax doing Among in full?
Thanks for the review!

Yes about the Megadeth one but like I said I missed Anthrax so I don't know for sure. People told me that Anthrax played their old best hits for a half hour. It was actually a big deal for New Orleans to have Megadeth in town. He hasn't been to the city in about 13 years.
