I know this probably isn't a lot of your collective cup of tea, but I'm filling in on guitar for Inviolate so I figured I'd let you all know about it regardless. So if anyone wants to go, hit me up.

HAHA...yeah.

What's funny is that this show also has Mutiny Within on the bill which is the band that Blackguard replaced on the Nevermore bill.

I dunno. I missed their set with Nevermore due to gear-loading detail...and will presumably do so again at this show.

I'm looking forward to Scar Symmetry though. I've dug what I've heard from them. I'm not familiar with Epica at all.

Wow, really? A band so amazingly non-sucky, both Brian and I have both played 'em on WREKage.

Seriously, to me they sound like a Gothenburg band that hasn't sold out yet like In Flames did, although admittedly their most recent CD has less growls than before.

Yeah, I've checked them out before but wasn't into it. I didn't like the sound. Too polished for me, and playing stuff I've heard before.

in all fairness, I only like the first two Scar Symmetry records. Their most recent two suck, especially since the vocalist change.
