I am actually having a meatless thanksgiving. This tofurkey looks terrible - pray that it does not kill us.

Also I am currently in my Redskins jammies about to get knee walking drunk in my own house with no in-laws and no family, and hopefully watching Dallas eat it real hard AKA Best Thanksgiving Ever.

I just finished serving about 350 people and eat myself into a turkey coma! First year I didn't have TG with my family, oh well I need the cash!

Wow. Where was this?

My girlfriend and I ate:
greenbean casserole
yams that were like 1/2 brown sugar and 1/2 marshmallows
the tofurkey that wasn't bad
roasted vegetables
mashed potatoes
rolls
salad
kroger pumpkin pie which was not good
carrot cupcakes
beers

And cranberry sauce just like mom used to make:

Those japs are so metal the recipe is from the Hellbent for Cooking book.

Half and seed a bunch of japs

Filll them halfway with Monterrey jack

Fill the rest of the way with cream cheese (but I'm thinking I'll use marscapone next time to steal a bit from Stew)

slice rashers of bacon in half and wrap around the japs. Secure with toothpicks

Bake at 400 for approximately 25 minutes until the bacon has rendered and the peppers have cooked through.

Now you have Mummified Jalapeno Bacon Bombs as created by the dude from Autopsy.

Beware that seeding all those peppers can leave a burn on your fingers that reactivates everytime you get your hands wet. Supposedly rubbing alcohol can take that out.

They came out really good. I took them to the in laws were no one ever eats anything more challenging than a pizza and they were gone in minutes.

Please tell how you did the duck wrapping. That marscapone sounds awesome.
