killer record. you into all the other bands associated with them?
Not yet but am looking into them, thanx!
houston is a hotbed of killer grind as of late.
def check out:
PLF (Pretty Little Flower) - in particular the Pulverizing Lethal Force and Crushing Fury of Bastardization LPs, all their shit is great though. sick grind with thrashy mosh parts
N.I.B.I.R.U. - War Before Extinction and Visions of a Terminal Reality. noisy as shit death/grind
War Master - Chapel of the Apocalypse. old school death metal / bolt thrower worship
Hatred Surge - Deconstruct and the split with Mammoth Grinder. excellent grindviolence. early stuff had dual vocals with a chick singer but now Rahi (former insect warfare vocalist) does the aux vocals. the mg split is my favorite stuff yet
Mammoth Grinder -Extinction of Humanity and HS split. their early stuff was more in the hardcore vein but EoH is old school death metal riffing combined with d beat goodness. same for the HS split
i'm probably forgetting one but that's a good start...
you ought to be ashamed leaving Weak Minds and Knucklescraper off this list. sheesh...
Depravity - Silence of the Centuries

Absu -- Tara. I'm not all that familiar with these guys. The drums are kind of overpowering, though.

Absu is kind of all about the drums. The drummer also sings while he does all that shit. Love this band.
