Twilight was slower, so was the older stuff like Versus the World. It did come with a 33 song DVD spanning their career on New Years Eve 2008. $12 pre-order, can't beat it.
I thought it was pretty average and nothing stood out but it wasn't bad...gotta listen to it more.

In an interview I read, probably in Decibel, just don't remember right now, one of the dudes was saying that there is no immediate "hit" on it, but that it's a grower and over time not having an immediate hit makes the record better and more catchy. Or something. Seemed like an excuse to have not written some really catchy shit. Whatever, that Amon Amarth sound is good enough for me.

I still want some regular vinyl, not picture disc or with bobbleheads or a hockey jersey or whatever other stuff.

Does that mean it wasn't very good? I thought you hadn't listened to it yet.

Exactly. I listen to AA when I want to hear that sound. The record is an amazing addition to their catalog.

There's just something about french black metal that I'm a sucker for... Is Grey Rigorism as good as this?

Damn, I haven't bought a CD since Maryland Deathfest I think. College life ain't all swell. But if I had any money to be spending, I'd be buying the Kerasphorus EP right now.

Yeah, it's a crazy thought nowadays for people to actually support bands with their money.

Dio - Holy Diver
Fates Warning - Awaken the Guardian remaster
Immolation - Close to a World Below

Finally bought these just now.
