WREKage podcasts

Post by BoB » Tue July 19th, 2005, 10:16 am

Podcasting has arrived at WREKage. This will be exclusive WREKage content. F'n Dan has done some F'n interviews and is getting them F'n posted. F'n thanks!

As of today it's just mp3 links but I'll have rss/podcast xml offered up soon.

In the past people have asked why WREKage doesn't offer a podcast of the show archive. The proper response is because it's not legal due to the copyrighted material contained on the show.

Ok, now the real scoop. The deal with the archive is that it's offered as an m3u file. If you download that and open it you'll notice a list of urls referring to mp3 files. Download those and you have an unofficial, unsanctioned, illegal 'podcast' to enjoy however you please! You have been warned.

There is also a secret link to the mp3 files on the wrek.org site
It's on the archive page. I can't tell you, but just look it's easy to find.

Interview with Amoebic Dysentery is up. I took too long with this. It's actually been finished since when I put the one with Blaze up, but it got lost for a little bit due to idiocy at the station and then it's been sitting on the computer ready for me to post.
Sorry guys.

I imagine this to be about super-nerdy-tech-shit and stories from when we were drunk.
It needs to happen.
