High Spirits - Another Night
when I first heard this the other day, I thought it was overrated. Every blog/person that has mentioned it thinks it's the greatest thing ever. So I decided to give it another shot today and realized just how infectious this record is. Could go along with every hook/riff from memory after just one listen. Catchiest metal album ever and it has a total Vice City vibe going on.

I haven't really seen anyone/any site talking about it, which is alarming. It's one of the strongest records to come out this year. By a fucking mile.Brian wrote:High Spirits - Another Night

That is setting the bar high. Does it really share company with Reign In Blood?Brian wrote:The more I listen to it, the more I agree with you. That's a trick question. No album will ever really share company with RiB.Knucklehead wrote:That is setting the bar high. This comes pretty close though.
It's NOT a thrash rec. It's a Heavy Metal rec. And it's perfect as far as those go.
