Orchid - Dance Tonight! Revolution Tomorrow!

you know that feeling you get inside when you discover something that you just can't stop listening to? This is it... it's technically "screamo" but hell, it's basically grindcore.

Best 15 minutes of music I've ever heard

High Spirits - Another Night

when I first heard this the other day, I thought it was overrated. Every blog/person that has mentioned it thinks it's the greatest thing ever. So I decided to give it another shot today and realized just how infectious this record is. Could go along with every hook/riff from memory after just one listen. Catchiest metal album ever and it has a total Vice City vibe going on.

I haven't really seen anyone/any site talking about it, which is alarming. It's one of the strongest records to come out this year. By a fucking mile.

That is setting the bar high. Does it really share company with Reign In Blood?

That's a trick question. No album will ever really share company with RiB.

This comes pretty close though.

It's NOT a thrash rec. It's a Heavy Metal rec. And it's perfect as far as those go.
