Listen to Power Trip 7" and the song on AHC Hammer of Doubt. Armageddon Blues is great too but I like the other two more.
I saw them this weekend and at a fest in Richmond and it was one of the most wild sets Ive never seen. Fast thrash/crossover. IMO best thrash band in a very long time.
They're playing here May 11th, venue tba.

Just saw the tour that the show is part of. Lineup is killer. Full announcement ..
Also if you are booking this can you please do it all ages or 18+ kthnxbyeSouthern Lord Recordings this week confirms a devastating label tour package for this June and July, bringing some of the label's newest and most promising acts as well as some major players on the eclectic but lethal roster together for a near month-long trek across the face of America.
Organized and booked by Southern Lord founder Greg Anderson, the core acts for the tour include the Ontario-based hardcore/rock outfit BURNING LOVE (featuring ex-Cursed vocalist), the dark lords of Swedish crust MARTYRDOD making their debut U.S. appearance, Milwaukee's punk/hardcore crossover outfit Enabler and Seattle's powerhouse d-beat/death-infused hardcore bastards BLACK BREATH. Special additional performances from Poison Idea, NOOTHGRUSH, PELICAN, POWERTRIP, WILD/TRIBE, DEAD IN THE DIRT, THE SECRET, ALL PIGS MUST DIE and more will join some of the shows regionally as well.
The final routing is still being plotted and finalized, and a fully confirmed itinerary will be publicized in the next two weeks as it all takes shape.

The show here in May isnt that tour. Its Foundation, Kids Like Us (last Atlanta show), The Mongoloids, and Power Trip. Most people here wont get into the other bands but PT is worth seeing live.
When I saw them this weekend hoards of people were walking out bleeding. It's been a while since Ive seen people go that nuts for a band.

Haha. True. I wouldn't get mad at you for diving on my head though. Dives must be executed at all costs.TheKshatriya wrote:I know most people dont care but im stoked a thrash band is pretty much only playing hardcore shows, which to me makes it more fun since most metal shows dont get very wild and I have a chance to get wild to a metal band without people getting mad at me for diving on them.
