DEATH TO ALL TOUR - Important Info

There's no way I'm paying $30 to see a Death cover band. I get what they're doing and I think it's admirable but let's be real about what this is. I wouldn't pay to see the travesty that's being toted around calling itself Thin Lizzy right now and I won't pay some ridiculous price to see this shit. It'd be like paying to see Motorhead without Lemmy.
No care.
No care.

Re: yeah
Even that's debatable. I kinda doubt his old man would have thought that retreading another artist's work (father or not) would be a cool way for his son to make a living. It just rings wrong to me, so I've skipped out.Odinson666 wrote:the only time something like this flies is when it's Zappa plays Zappa
I also wonder how Frank would have felt about the Zappa Family Trust approving use of his image, song titles, etc...for those Lagunitas beers a few years back.
/end Zappa derail

Re: yeah
I could see that being cool for a tour. Pay your tribute. Do your thing. Then get on with your actual life. ...just my .02badcarburetor wrote:Even that's debatable. Re: yeah
i think daddy Frank would be glad the kid wasn't trying to play like Eddie Van Halen anymore and at least some one was trying to playing real music in today's vapid climate...badcarburetor wrote:Even that's debatable.
