We're looking into the mobile thing and will hopefully implement a few other utilitarian additions very soon. Check your PM's if you haven't already Brian.

Might be cool to have some sort of band page thing for "local" bands where you could put a link to your music, discography, etc. Would become cooler over time in that bands would come and go but there would be an archive of local bands and all their shit. Not sure how this could work logisticly speaking but I think it would be cool

Not interested in SCADifying the board.
Does that mean that Mississippi isn't involved?

Seems like the "Bands" section could be repurposed for this application. Or, just add particular band threads as stickies.

I'm gonna use pictures of Stew. Or pictures that I say are Stew.

I think we should all just use pics of stew as our avatars.

Recently had a few suggestions about a concert forum announcement/sticky. The hope is that users can view vital information about upcoming shows without searching through other posts that have been "bumped" to the top of the concert forum. Links to existing posts about the show are included as well as offsite information about the venue, ticketing, etc. Check it out here. All constructive criticism, insults, and curses are welcome.

Okay, that's the new default avatar. We'll give everyone a little time during the changeover and then begin issuing demerits.

I tried it out last night, but only got the red "x" of death.

Regarding the 'band page' idea: what information specifically would you like to see? Logo, genre, contact information, links to songs, discography, etc? Pretty much like a localized Metal-Archives?
