585 was god damn amazing for a lot of musical scenes (hardcore, crust, death metal, etc) i don't see why anyone wouldn't want a 'successor' to that venue, and it being 7 miles from downtown atlanta? i'm there.

agreed!! one thing we don't have is a vast amount of venues for bands especially locals...more venues is always a plus.

I'm actually kind of surprised at all the maybes and the lack of yes's.

Perspective: From the center of Atlanta according to Google Maps, it's 2 miles to 585, 3 miles to 529, 7 miles to Little Tree, and 9 miles to Hapeville. 9 miles ain't shit. The hardcore scene does a lot of shows out in Griffin now and people have no problem driving there. Hapeville's a whole lot closer than Griffin.

In regards to the poll answers I think most of the people that chose "Maybe" are actually a "Yes" but obviously they're only going to go to a show if it's bands they want to see.

I think with a couple good shows that everyone is stoked on and comes out to it would be easy to solidify the new spot as a good place to do shows.

Just depends on the bands really. Like if I'm only paying 7 bucks to see a band like Inquisition or Cannabis Corpse, then fuck yes.

I'd go if I'm back in Atlanta when there's a show there. There's no tellin' when I'll be back for an extended amount of time though!
