It was the Shats being the Shats for 100 minutes. It was great. He was as hilarious as he always. Telling self deprecating stories, a little bit of uplifting inspiration, some video clips...and a weird ass story about basically torturing his favorite award winning horse. No idea why he told that one or what the crowd was supposed to get out of it, but the rest was great. Especially, the pics of him as young, blond and shirtless. Hell, for 81 (I think) dude is still full of energy.

Bleeding over from the funny things on the internet thread...

This toolshed makes me wish that I believed in those little voodoo dolls that you poke with pins or throw into woodchippers.

My 5-year old daughter, dressed all in pink, was sitting at the breakfast table the other day, tapping out a familiar rhythm. So I threw on "Warhead" by Venom and was greeted with a big grin.

The way the board members' kids are growing up around metal so much, posts like these will soon no longer count as "metal in unmetal places" since their households already ARE metal places!

So one other employee is here today, and he's right outside my door using the electronic 3-hole punch on his documents. The noise surprised me and I blurted out "Oh, I thought my phone was ringing!" He just stared at me because of course that made no sense. But for a second, the grinding hole punch sounded like "Black Fucking Murder" by Sargeist. Of course I will not tell him that this is my ringtone. I just immediately stopped talking and continued on with my business.

"Never mind, of course my ringtone is Beyonce. How foolish of me. Good day."

The fellas at Goodyear demanded to know what my sticker says. I told the counter guy that it says Avsky, and he grabbed the phone to tell the guys in the garage. They like thrash up in that joint, but we're all down with the devil.

Hooray metal!

I saw footage of those kids playing in Time Square or whatever. Good on them.

Planks' cover is even better, imo. It's even got Mike Hill from Tombs doing vocals!
