Just bought this seemingly dinky little thing a couple weeks ago, and first of all, if you need a mini component system for a bedroom, office, weight room, kids' room, whatever, I wholeheartedly endorse it -- especially if you do what I did and follow it on Amazon til it drops below $200. Now most of them (in all their multicolored glory) have risen back up to the $230 area, which still isn't bad at all, but which raises the proposition of bouncing up to this version for $280, as it has the added bonus of a subwoofer line-out (and obviously better speakers).

Anyway it sounds incredible for the size/price. Lacks some midrange, and you'll probably want to keep the bass on its highest setting, but still it's pretty amazing. Screw Bose.

Inaugurated thusly:
Katatonia - Night is the New Day
Ulcerate - Of Fracture and Failure
Emperor - Anthems
Terrorizer - World Downfall
Mayhem - Chimera
Jag Panzer - Mechanized Warfare
Beethoven's Eroica and Pastoral
Berlioz's Harold in Italy
Strauss's Four Last Songs
Shostakovich's 8th
Grieg's Symphonic Dances

And some Carpathian Forest.

Satyricon - "Delirium"

Precise articulation turns me on.

Message to my attorney: If my brother kills my whole family this weekend, are you free? Don't worry, they have it coming. I'll be working for the defense. THX
