At the Gates â€â€Â￾ The Red in the Sky is Ours. I came to ATG way late, but this one doesn’t hold up. I’d rather listen to Darkthrone.

I was in London at Shades Records in 1988 and there were two loud, obnoxious douchebags in there. One was short and had a huge metal afro. I asked the clerk who those assholes were and his reply was, "they're in some Yank band called Laaz Rockit." Having said that, their 3 speed/thrash records kicked ass. Don't know about Stranger to Danger though.

One of the best gore bands ever, Frightmare, covered their song Leatherface. Check that out. It rules

Ha, that sounds about right. No Stranger to Danger and the first record both sound a bit forced compared to Know Your Enemy and the rest. They were way more Sunset Strip than Fillmore then. Still enjoyable, though not the speed attack we all know and love.

BEHERIT -- the oath of black blood

I seldom listen to this because I'm not a huge fan of the demonomancy tracks, but I guess I forgot how much the dawn of satan's millennium material rules.
