Cool -- that's the set I was most interested in. Hope it wasn't a one-off. Maybe MD3 or a Boris fest.

Re: Mass Destruction Metal Fest 2
Man, this whole weekend was an absolute blast. Such a good time hangin and partyin with everyone. Watched every single band again this year. Highlights for me were Hellgoat (maybe best guitar sound of the whole fest), Perdition Temple (despite their unfortunate weird PA issue), Abysmal Lord (more and more intense each time they play), Ritual Decay (now as a 5 piece), The Chasm, and Terrorizer damn near destroying everyone else by melting the whole blurred weekend into a single massive ingot of destruction.
And in all honesty, my overall favorite set though was actually Avulsion. I held off on posting anything here yesterday like this to sort of let the whole weekend sink in and let any nostalgia wear off, but they absolutely made the fest for me. I really do hope there's a video or two floating around. Cody and Amos...knocked it right outta the park again, fellas. Let's do it again!

Thanks to whomever promoted/arranged this. Got there Saturday night around 8:00 and caught the guys in balaclavas (not my thing...), Mortuary (pretty cool...especially considering their frontman apparently died earlier this year), and The Chasm (awesome, - "From the Curse, a Scourge" in particular). Corchado's guitar sound could have been better, but that's a minor complaint.
Re: Mass Destruction Metal Fest 2
I only wanted to see Avulsion and Terrorizer on Saturday. I was a fucking retard and didn't read close enough that bands started at 5:30 on Saturday. I should have realized something was up when I asked Tommy what he was doing and he said he was gonna walk down at 5. Got ready to leave at 5:15 and checked shitbook to see Avulsion was starting in 15 minutes. So the I figured I would head down later, like 9. bad idea. Fallout 76 and weed prevailed and by 9 I was drinking beers. I fuckin' hate myself sometimes.
Friday was a great time though. Oddly enough Fin was my favorite. I saw them at Blood of the Wolf 3 when Repulsory played. That main room in Kentucky always sounds like shit so it was hard to tell how great they are. I don't usually like 2 man black metal bands but Charles is a fucking black metal chord virtuoso, so many beautiful minor chord progressions. he also does a lot of 4 finger fretting which makes his stuff sound really layered and thick. Dan Klein is a fucking machine too. We stayed at the same house in Kentucky that year. he's super mellow and nice, would never know how talented he is by his demeanor.
Perdition Temple was the stand out for me. I'm not sure how they were able to be so loud, considering all the bands used the same amps. I swear to god they were twice as loud as everyone else.
Accused was kinda a let down. Not sure if it was because of all the amp trouble or what but they seemed kinda stale and boring.

Anyone have anymore videos, photos, etc they'd like to share? That Avulsion video ever surface??? Found just a few videos from this year on YouTube: full sets of Nasty Savage, Terrorizer, The Chasm, and Sadistic Intent.

Turns out the Avulsion clips were posted straight to I_LOVE_ZUCKERPENIS, rather than YouTube.
