Kataklysm/EXHORDER!/Krisiun/Hatchet - Sept 21 - Venue TBA

Post by zla vydra » Sat June 8th, 2019, 9:27 am

Well, Exhorder caught my attention. The other three, not so much. I imagine this will be a Masq. show.

Masq held off announcing SlaughterQue so they could use this tour as an anchor for that event.

Kataklysm and 30 Pantera ripoff bands, sounds like one for the ages right there.

Misanthropic Aggression, sadistic Ritual and a few other cool bands ended up on this. I'm gonna have fun. If anyone does actually decide to go please buy a ticket from us. usual masq stuff we have to sell tickets.

And mastodons. Been skipping out for those reasons.

But I will certainly be there for this year for Krisiun, Exhorder and Exodus as well as MA and SR.

You guys ever notice how Carcass will play a fest with just about anyone? haha they'll be playing Knot Fest with Slipknot and FFDP or Download fest with Radiohead. I'm not saying I wanna play Knotfest but it is pretty cool they arent too cool to play with those bands, some Slipknot fans might like them. I like that for our band. Fuck yea man we'll play with anyone almost. Works against exclusion.

We played under a bridge, it was wild as fuck. There's an area under the street that I've never noticed before. Our heads were almost touching the ceiling. They had a huge PA and stage. The barbecue endor was inder the bridge on the other end, it smelled amazing haha. When we went on the place was packed. people stretching all the way to the back. Whirlwind of a day.

Glad it was a good turnout. Sorry to bail last minute. The no re-entry thing fucked my momentum for the day the way that only Masq could and truthfully never even made it over there.

exhorder was fucking ripping but they only played for like 20 minutes. I talked with vinnie for a while before the show and he hinted there might be a headlining tour in the works so fingers crossed.

sadistic ritual continues to front a massive assault on humanity. they look like fucking stormtroopers on stage ready to impale your wife and children on stakes. no fucking mercy.

Man, that was a killer saturday. Minus most of the bands I wasnt interested in, the rest I saw was great. MisAgg and SadRit has done it once again.

Just now listening to Rotten Stitches and Creeping Death, I regret missing both of them. Hope to see them in the near future.

Exodus playing seven songs from Bonded By Blood album which was a sweet treat, I would have loved to hear a song or two from Pleasures of the Flesh (Brain Dead) and another from Impact is Imminent (Changing of the Guard).

All in all, the brisket fucking ruled.
