Misanthropic Aggression (M.A.)

Post by Azrael » Tue August 15th, 2017, 5:05 pm

I fleshed out some riffs I had written in 2015 and demo'd alone, I did it all. Almost forgot about them until recently. Decided I needed to go the way of Josh and Pat and start a band that would be mine. As luck would have it our very own Melkor reminded me he plays guitar, while at one of Tommy's parties. we set a date to jam and he came over and nailed it. We have almost two songs and a Hellhammer cover in the works. It's a little early for me to be posting about it but there's only a few of us here, so fuck it. Ryan from Spewtilator drew us a sick ass logo. So I guess we're a band. Should be doing cool stuff in the upcoming months.

I'm just gonna keep this thread going because the time stamp makes for a cool timeline. As of now we have finished tracking 8 songs, Melkor is almost done mixing it. Damian Herring is going to master it. It's coming out October 2nd on Boris Records. Kevin Sharp (Brutal Truth. Venomous Concept, Lock Up) did main vocals on one song and back ups on another. We're calling it the Inability To Cope EP.

Tyler announced his resignation today. I accepted. I'll be taking up mantle as drummer once again for the time being.

There's a new MA tape coming out next week -- the Covid-19 Reset EP. Limited to 50, because we are kvlt bastards. Two new songs, one song reworked, the demo songs remastered, and a cover of Hellhammer's "Eurynomos".

Warrior himself calls the cover "an incredibly energetic and pure Hellhammer cover version". The official Hellhammer site says, "It is an honour to us to be covered like this!"

MA has two different bundles for sale, one with a shirt and a flag of the cover art, the other with a shirt and the flag and a copy of the 7".

Check it out: MA BandCamp

Obviously, we'll have copies at the BR BandCamp as well.
