i couldn't tell you if thats a good or a bad thing. I gotta ask how you got busted though. I try everything not to get caught but sometimes you can't do everything. So howd it happen?

Forsyth County Sheriff's Dept. ... roadblock 200 yards from my house.. took a toke, came around the corner and over a hill and immediately hit the road block...no time to light a cig, toss bud, stop the car from reeking of Romulan x Silverhaze.. pull up, the guy starts laughing, tells me to pull over... the smell was reekingly obvious so i was straight up when they asked if i had marijuana..didnt make em go through the hassle of gettin a dog and all that shit... they have me get out, cuff me, Sgt Fuckface burns his hand on my still hot pipe and is offended.. i offer the suggestion of grinding the 1 tiny bud into the ground with the heel of his boot, he offers the suggestion of if i want a DUI-D and possession or possession... went the obvious route.. he repeatedly asks me where i got it, i tell him "a person outside this county, i have nothing more to say on that". Arrested. Get to sit there in the back listening to LINKIN FUCKING PARK on repeat for 2 hours while they finish up, watching ppl get popped for coke, x, meth, all let go cause they all turned into little singing birds immediately... was the most pathetic thing ive ever seen... was proccessed and out in an hour... no court date on citation, called today, still none.

so be wary! they had these gay little soft blue non pulsating lights that you couldnt see til you were right on top of em. fuck your safety checks!

oh yeah, while sitting in the back i overhear a big debate over wether to take me in or not, sgt fuckface was the only one in favor of haulin me in. i guess i should be grateful that they didnt give me a dui too but im not.

get to holding and they find uot why im there and they proceed to give the deputy who took me in shit for "cleaning up forsyth of highly dangerous criminals" he shows them what i had, everyone rolls their eyes etc... never went into a cell or anything.. they let me go smoke a cig while i was waiting on them to get all my paperwork and shit before fingerprinting and all that, so the holding ppl were generally cool.. some drunk lady gave me a kiss and grabbed my nuts before i could inform her that "Honey, the good times...those are over now" which greatly amused the staff..

PAIN.IN.THE.ASS.

this is my first arrest, and i know knucklehead has some knowledge of this stuff. prolly gonna do the lawyer thing, i want to try to find a decent local guy who knows the ppl involved in the case, cause i know forsyth, and if i bring in some city fucker its all over

if only the corrupt ones i knew weren't off the force

oh well, i did the shit and i didnt pussy out, which this one older sheriff who looked irritated at the SGTs hardass behavior told me he appreciated me BEING A MAN and not ratting out others, they made huge fun of all the crying narcs after they left.

so i figured the best thing to do was roll two joints the next night and smoke them on the way to the Belphegor gig lol needed the metal that night lemme tell ya.

Seems this thread got hijacked - now back to Marduk. I was the one with the Urgehal shirt on. Yeah, I do remember screaming WOLVES a few times, but climbing on the amps not so much. I was more than a bit drunk though by the time Marduk came on (bored as hell by Mantic Ritual and all Nachtmystium's new tripe, and pissed Merrimack wasn't higher on the bill), so I wouldn't be surprised if I ended up climbing on the amps or on the stage with Mortuus or something. I think I fell into a headbanging frenzied rage the minute Marduk came on and didn't snap out of it until somtime after I made it to my car in the parking lot. I'm so glad they got all that visa shit sorted out.

my court date for my possession charge (which i got before my dui) is in february. it being your first offense i highly recommend doing something called "conditional discharge" which my lawyer told me about. you should call a couple lawyers and see what they think about your case and the possibility of you doing CD or them getting it dropped, they will talk to you for free and give you advice.

basically you do the standard shit they're gonna make you do anyway before you go to court and if at all possible have your fine ready to pay at your court date. you will need to do a Drug and Alcohol Evaluation ($125) and 20 hours of community service (i know a good place so pm me and i'll send you the details if you want). Lie like a motherfucker in the evaluation or they can make you go to counseling for "x" number of weeks which costs more... basically make it sound like you made a really bad judgment call that you would almost never be in the situation to make in the first place. If everything goes smoothly and you have your fine up front (have about $500 ready or ask a lawyer how much it will usually be) you will avoid probation or worst case scenario be on "non reporting" or "call in" probation where you wont have to pay the $40 a month they would normally charge and basically just have to stay out of trouble until your probationary period is over...6 months to a year

Thanks guys.

It was totally a one time act of foolishness brought on by harsh times in my personal life. I'm an Eagle Scout and was recently an Educator.. and ashamed by my bad choice! and all of that.

Were you really a teacher? I'm a high school science teacher. There are not many metal teachers out there. All of my colleagues are horrified that I go to metal shows.

Most metalheads I know would have a hard time swimming or diving underwater. Cigarettes and beer don't add up to too much bottom-time.

haha its the only reason i think i can still breathe...been slackin hard here lately on my swimming, by the time i watch 8 hours of other ppl practicing, my desire to leave the building is quite strong.

It can be a pain in the ass, but with any luck it'll get bumped down to community service. I haven't had that charge since I was a teenager, but every adult in the ATL area that I've know of has taken the strategy of postponing the hearings as long as possible and only end up with fines/community service.

And good on you for not being a rat. I simply have never understood the mindset that allows for ratting.
