Yes, we know about Sonar. It was just brought to our attention. Please DO NOT panic. The festival will still go on as planned. If Sonar does not end up working, we already have a alternative site in the same area that would have a similar set up, so you do not need to worry, and you do not need to consider changing plans. More info about this is expected to be posted on Friday.

In just a few hours, we've managed to get some positive news regarding a new fest location. Everything should be wrapped up in the next couple of days. If the plan stays as is, you will not need to change your hotel plans, etc

If you wish to contact the person behind the mess at Sonar voicing your displeasure, here is the contact info. He didn't answer our calls, so this is the best we can do. Lonnie Fisher - 443-621-3137 - lonniefisher@comcast.net

They already have a new venue as a back up and just about worked out. Supposedly no hotel changes or anything of the sort will be needed if everything works out.

ugh it better work out!

I wonder what the venue will be. I was lookin at various venues in Baltimore and Bourbon Street might be good but they have shows booked already... I wonder if they're gonna have to make it an all outdoor fest (I don't think too many folks would mind that though!) I hope we find out soon.

It will. Maybe today, at the latest tomorrow it will be announced. Everything else is supposed to be the same as always, just in a different place.

"We have a meeting tonight that should clear up a lot regarding the new fest site. We'll most likely be updating you on the new location tonight or tomorrow morning. Don't panic, and don't freak out about your hotel reservations. The location change will not be a huge difference at all."

I can understand if you have work or school the next day. But on vacation why would you want to be in bed by midnight?

Just out of habit, and being old. Those 12 hour days wear your ass out, and from experience I know by saturday I'm wore the fuck out. This year there isnt anything I wanna see past 12 oclock, I won't necessarily go right to bed but I may be passed out drunk by then. ;) I don't need to wait around for the gay ass bands they have playing that late this year.
