Preach it. I'm moving back over there and am so stoked about all the killer food for cheap. I love that area, it's just a bit far north for me, if I had everything my way.

as far as happening areas and shows are concerned how is Buford Hwy?
there's nothing like that on Buford Highway. I love Buford Hwy though...I had lunch at some Vietnamese place today on Buford Hwy...damn it was good! And if you move over this way, you're like 10-15 minutes from downtown which is pretty close. You also don't have to deal with the traffic usually either. DO IT!

That's all I really needed to hear. I've seen some great deals in Marietta, but I'll definitely look into the Buford hwy.

buford highway is ethnic food central. so if you like chinese, korean, japanese, vietnamese, indian, pakistani, mexican, peruvian, or all of the above, you're set.

Except for when I lived in Little 5, I've always lived within 2-3 miles
or less from Buford Hwy...I love it!

I live very near Buford Hwy by the PDK airport. 15 minutes to the cool areas, lots of food and parks nearby.

And unlike when I lived in Midtown, there really aren't any safety problems at all. I joined the 'neighborhood watch' Yahoo group, and the worst thing that seems to happen is dog-walkers throwing their shitbags into storm drains. Fuckin' CRIMEWAVE!!!

I'm at PDK all the time lol. The Downwind has burgers that rival the ones from The Vortex. So if you want a good burger and don't want to wait in line for 2 hours, go to The Downwind. My Civil Air Patrol squadron meets at PDK and my dad lives right across the street too. And when I get $$$, I go flying!

Great area. Not ritzy but like he said, crime is pretty low and it's close by.

Tell me about these parks. I just want to make sure that I'm not overlooking anything. Any good dog parks, especially ones that don't have any ghey rules against pit bulls?
