Nine Inch Nail with Soundgarden

I saw Soundgarden on two separate occasions on the Louder the Love tour, once opening for Voi Vod, which was the first time I ever heard Soundgarden and was blown away, then saw them open for Danzig and they were still pretty awesome

I saw both of those tours, also in Detroit. I had heard Soundgarden before the Voivod show and was blown the fuck away. The energy was fucking palpable. Did Faith No More open the show here?

Soundgarden weren't nearly as good at the Danzig show. Maybe they had been on the road too long, at that point. Part of it was that I had lost interest in Danzig, by that point. Anyway, COC opened in Detroit and I enjoyed there set, so the evening wasn't a complete loss.

Same here. Saw all those shows in Texas. Last time I saw Soundgarden was the 1992 Lollapalooza tour, with Ministry, etc. I've never liked NIN, although one of the guys in the band in the 90s lived right under me in the dorm in Austin when he was in his previous band.

I'm considering going to Albuquerque to see this. Never seen either band, would be cool. I was 7 for most of 1994 so yeah, didn't get to see them then lol. Lawn seats are $40 so not too bad I guess. It's on a weeknight though...we'll see. Just depends on work.

Someone posted a link to $20 tickets for the 4th of July on the Live Nation site, got my wife and I tickets. I'm pretty excited to see this.
