I wouldn't give anyone shit over liking early Rush, either. :)

Been listening to a lot of new arrivals lately:

Speechless, Time Out Of Mind
Swallow the Sun, Hope
Orphaned Land, The Neverending Way of OrWarriOR
Shadow Gallery, Digital Ghosts
Stormwarrior, Heading Northe
Kansas, There's Know Place Like Home
Anubis Gate, Purification
Insomnium, Since the Day It All Came Down
Leprous, Tall Poppy Syndrome
Augury, Fragmentary Evidence
Ensiferum, From Afar
Eluveitie, Everything Remains As It Never Was

and these that just arrived, haven't had a chance to rip them yet:

Dark Tranquillity, We Are the Void
Novembers Doom, Into Night's Reqiuem Infernal
Pathosray, Sunless Skies
Epica, Design Your Universe

Nagelfar - Hunengrab in Herbst
Darkthrone - Plaguewielder
Immortal - All Shall Fall
Blut Aus Nord - Memoria Vetusta (that next to last song is ... woo)
In Flames - The Jester Race
Enforsaken - The Forever Endeavor (insanely overlooked melodic dm, Swedish-style, played by Americans)
Bizet - L'Arlessiene, Suite 2 (the last movement, the Farandole, is absolutely metal)

There's still an early full length and a split with Legions of Astaroth floating around out there. The new promo has two songs from the upcoming album and I think it's only availible from the band at the moment. I picked it up at the Witchaven/LoA show. Just $3. Production has vastly improved from previous recordings.

Well done.

I accidentally watched Freejack the other night and now I'm on hour 36 of having the Scorpions "Hit Between the Eyes" running through my head.

Trying to get into hip-hop/rap because I know there has to be some good shit out there

Also trying hardcore out though...it's been slow though. I still only have a few albums from each.

I rec'd GZA's "Liquid Swords" album to someone on here recently, if it was you sorry for repeating myself, but it a great album. on par with wu-tang "36 chambers"

as far as hardcore what style are you trying to get into?
