Odraza -- Esperalem tkane. Stumbled across them randomly and they caught my ear. You can hear them here. Polish black metal, in Polish. The cover is NSFW. Not sure that they will have the staying power that mgła does.

Jon Mikl Thor fucking rules. Love that album. There's a new re-release with a 65 minute DVD from tour that I've been meaning to track down for a while.

I have about a billion blind spots when it comes to metal. So much has been released that you can't really stay on top of it.

Amon Amarth -- With Oden On Our Side. For whatever reason I had written these guys off. But holy shit. I blame everyone on this board with a long beard for not telling me about this.

I realize that I just admitted to liking Thor, but I can't help but feel that Amon Amarth is what a band fronted by Hagar the Horrible would sound and look like.

Anal Vomit - Into The Eternal Agony
Silencer - Death Pierce Me
Ofermod - Serpents' Dance
Gnaw Their Tongues - All the Dread Magnificence of Perversity

Fat Joe - Don Cartagena

Guess who needs a new head gasket? Currently tooling around in a bright red Fiat rental which I have christened "the illest whip." No connection for my iphone on the stereo, so I dug out the Fat Joe, Gravediggaz, and Wu Tang CDs. I am Jack's midlife crisis.

Surfing on YouTube, I just ended up on a track by August Burns Red.

I had to hurriedly play Transilvanian Hunger, to purge that awful noise.

Beastie Boys - Licensed to Ill

Whenever my sister in law visits I have to remove all the severed heads and demon children from the guest room. And I ALWAYS forget. Her husband starts the removal process and I go "OH SHIT RIGHT SORRY." Everything is back in place now. Hooray!
