This morning my stereo decided to reject my phone, declaring it an "unsupported device." I unplugged it, replugged it, pulled off the face plate, put it back on, tried the other end of the cable, nothing. So I drove to work holding my phone and trying to keep my hand cupped around the shitty speaker so I could hear it while the stereo glared ERROR 19 at me. Dissection sounded like they were broadcasting from inside a coffee can.
This stereo better get right with God because if I see ERROR 19 on the way home I'm going to smash it into little pieces.

Oh yeah - during our battle, HAL angrily spat out a Tsjuder CD. I totally forgot it was in there.Nyarlathotep wrote:My iPod cable hasn't worked for well over a year, and I have reverted back to CDs. It feels so archaic.
This is an Apple cable, but they only have a life span of like 4 months, at least in my car. The pile of off-brand ones the husband picked up somewhere ("they were so cheap!") lasted about 2 days each.
Therefore I will probably be listening to:
Tsjuder - Kill For Satan

I am so sorry and my thoughts are with you during this difficult time.
Thank you for your kind words.
I've resorted to putting a portable speaker hooked up to the phone on the passenger seat. It's really pathetic. We are buying a new car soon anyway though, so I won't have to suffer for long.

No, but that's a great idea!
