First thanks to everybody that came truly came out in support of FTTA 2010. It was a truly awesome weekend. Though it was not the success one would hope for it definitely was not the disaster a few people wished. A matter of perspective I guess.

Total paid attendance for the two days: 131.
Total refunds for Sunday: 35
Total refunds for The Fest: 63

Total major sponsorships on board for next year's tour: 3
Coca-Cola, Hot Topics, and WWE as of yesterday morning we began talks with Scion for sponsorship. Yeah it's something that I really hated to do but I felt in order to put on the FTTA Fest I envision it is only going to come about through corporate sponsorship. DIY is dead. It cannot survive the brutality of politics.

As for scratching Sunday we had gotten an e-mail from Choose Your Poison/Neon Hole about an horrendous turnout for them in Nashville the night before where they made less than $20 did not feel that with all the "local politics" going on around Atlanta that it would be a good idea to venture farther from home with little gas money. Attempts to reach Pistofficer Sunday proved futile so we scratch Sunday went and got free beer and BBQ at the Masquerade and caught the free show by Dark Castle. Apologies to anyone that wound up there for no show. And again thanks to all that came out and had an amazing good time and gave not only words of encouragement but acts of faith by attending.

To everybody else get the fuck over yourselves.

I'm going to keep most of my opinion to myself, and I had planned on coming out Saturday but some stuff got in the way, but you do realize that these "local politics" were never really a problem until you started promoting this fest right? I mean, pretty much everyone was right with the lineup in regards to buying presale tickets...half the bands dropped. It's cool that you have these 'sponsorships' lined up but maybe you should take this as a hint to approach it much differently next year.

My suggestion: out of the supposed hundreds and hundreds of jobs you'll be creating for the touring FTTA fest, make your number one priority a PR guy.

Hey Floyd, before you keep rambling on about Jake, just so you know, Jake was the ONLY ONE to come to WREKage to promote this fest. You didn't even make an attempt. But Jake got in touch with me and came to the studio to promote FTTA. So keep talking shit about the one person who took that avenue to promote your show.

Honestly dude after your initial anti-FTTA comments made when the fest was first announced me coming down there honestly would have been a waste of a MARTA token. You know and I know it. In fact as late as late August there was nothing about FTTA listed in the WRECKage show calender when WRECKage is pretty much all over this site. So who you kidding? Anyone even list to WRECKage anymore?

Actually the show was listed in the events calendar...I know because I listed it myself.

My comments weren't anti-FTTA, in fact I made several comments about wanting to check out the bands. What they did criticize was your promoting style and you calling Atlanta "apathetic" and making comments such as "Atlanta isn't even worth defending." I also did a fair bit of promotion on the show.

But you're right, I don't think anybody listens to WREKage at all since we didn't have a single person call in when we were giving away free tickets to your show.

That's probably because everybody knows I don't give free tickets on WREK or WRAS anymore because the same people always win them for some strange reason.
