Candlemass - new one. They just don't have the riffs any more. New/old singer sounds good, though.

Overkill - new one. Not bad.

Forever waiting for something new from this band. That demo comp that came out last summer is pretty excellent. Always interesting hearing tunes in an unrefined state. Both of the full lengths are beasts, though. Playing Unending Degradation has almost become a late night weekend ritual at my place. Totally entranced by the atmosphere of that recording.

They’ve got a new one coming out in May. Preorders at Dark Descent next week.

I've always liked that first Tokyo Blade record, especially "Sunrise in Tokyo" and "Break the Chains." Not to mention the epic "Blue Ridge Mountains" comedy bit.
