Call Of The Mastodon

call of the mastodon is a "re-release" of sorts. its mastodon's original demo with the songs from lifesblood plus the other 4 songs they recorded at the start of the band. i never heard the other four songs so i bought the album to see what they were about and i really like'em. the songs that were left out are really heavy and had quite a bit more of an extreme feel to them. real heavy, pretty thrashy and a lot of blastbeats as far as mastodon is concerned.

yeah, alot more intence then there later albums, and i think the less-orgonizedness of it sounds better in ways. my fav song was thank you for this "dun dun dun DUN DUN DUN.DUN DUN DUN. DUN DUN DUN DE DE DUN DUN!"
