Deathgasm bands

Post by ProstheticHead12 » Tue September 19th, 2006, 2:20 pm

So I just got a huge stack of CDs from Deathgasm for LFR and I was wondering if y'all could recommend anything they've released that's excellent for me to start with. I've already heard Signs of Dying and Amoebic Dysentery, but that's about it. Thanks.
Fuck it, Dude, let's go bowling.

off the top of my head I can think of Kuru, Horn of Valere, Cult of Daath (not to be confused with Daath), Semargl, and Hyperion. Especially Semargl, they have an old-school Emperor vibe going on throughout most of their two albums that I really dig.

There are many, many others though. I'm sure you'll have some happy listening.

The Nominon disc came out pretty killer.

Evil Incarnate; I think Evan told me its not in print anymore but I got one of their songs "Smoke of the Holy Ones Burning" on the Deathgasm sampler a while back.

Semargl = win.

Also, the Azure CD they released is pretty good, too. Very nice-looking digipack.

Thanks for the info - I have Semargl blasting right now, and I liked the Nominon and Azure as well. The rest y'all mentioned I didn't get (except Hyperion and I'm still deciding if I like that one).
