In the thread about city specific forums - http://forum.atlantametal.net/posting.p ... ply&t=6937 - if there are any worthwhile links, it would be cool if they were collected in a links tab somewhere else on the board.

Is it just me, or there lots of random, phantom links popping up? And then they go away?

Like Moloc's post on this page, "or any other hotels in the area"?

So bizarre: now, the word "hotels" is linked in this thread.

I think this computer must be FUBAR.

I've seen that appear on here using public computers before. I believe it's a virus.

Better not be -- this is my work computer!

But I uninstalled some stuff that I didn't know had been installed and shouldn't be on this computer. Hopefully, that will cure the problem. (*puts head back in sand*)

I had that awhile ago and it turned out to be an extension on my browser. Try removing anything you recently added.

Here's a recommendation: eradicate Facebook.

I was gone most of last week and there were less than half a dozen posts when I returned. Facebook is the Wal-Mart of social media and I'm pretty sure it isn't just coincidence that, as Facebook use increases, these little social communities begin to wane.

It's definitely been a little bit dry around here as of late, but the rudiments are definitely present. Booking inquiries, festival news, show listings and the like are viewed and replied to by the same core group of people pretty quickly. I personally like not having to wade through all of the "John Smith liked this" internet horseshit even if it's a little bit slow around here at times. I'll go to my grave though without ever having made a myspace, facebook, twitter, etc. account. Fuck that noise forever. This forum turned ten years old in 2014 without changing a thing. I don't think another ten is out of the question.

things'v been quiet on all fronts lately... the ebb will eventually give way to flow, and before you know it you'll be popping aspirin while reading yet another kaganesque post asking if your parents are jewish

I liken FB to channel surfing for random stuff for when Im shitting or smoking and this forum a dedicated channel for Metal. I like how things are.
