Would you like one of us to call in a bomb threat?

"YOU HAVE TEN MINUTES TILL I MAKE IT RAIN POPCORN SHRIMP AND GREEN BEANS."
"BRUSSELS SPROUTS AND BOURBON-STREET CHICKEN WILL SPATTER THE WALLS! CHEDDAR-CHEESE SAUCE WILL RUN LIKE BLOOD!"

We'll be there around noon. Make this happen. I feel better already.

I do really like my job, but that's because my job is to sit in the server room alone and hit enter for 12 hours. I've turned into a complete hermit. Whenever someone comes in here I'm all "WHAT DO YOU WANT?? GET OUT!! my precioussssss..."

Yeah, I had a pretty good giggle imagining them actually trying to clear out the 'Corral in the event of an emergency. "No way, I paid for them buffets and I AIN'T LEAVIN."

Popcorn shrimp and Bourbon Street Chicken in T-Minus 9 minutes...

I got my friend a job today...I hope he doesn't fuck it up.

Also, my new manager who I hate has to go to another store for an unforeseen amount of time. :D

HAHA!! :D :D The food isn't terrible. I'm vegetarian, so I was surprised how much stuff I could eat there. The salad bar is great, but the cooked veggies were totally watery and the mac & cheese tasted like a frozen meal. And the soft-serve ice cream was the wateriest shit ever. But the iced tea is good and the yeast rolls are divine. Also there's a confusing wall of pies that looks like something George Jetson might get his Space Lunch out of.

I work in Lawrenceville, so it's somewhere out there. Maybe near 316?

Maybe I'm old, but that makes sense to me.

haha, me too but i wasnt gonna say anything. get there a couple minutes early, clock in, do your shit, and then be where you're supposed to be when you're supposed to be there and everyones happy.

unless you get there and take a 30 min. shit everyday... they might frown on that much over time :D

I used to do that. I got there at like 4:53 and clocked in and did what I usually do then usually got to the register at like 4:58 and was ready. Nobody ever complained. Nobody ever said anything.

Until she got there. If they told me to do my regular shit first then clock in on my first day, I'd have no problem with that.

I'm just pissed because I've been doing the same thing for 2 years almost and this new lady who just got there is yelling at me for doing it. I'm not the only one. She's pissing everyone else off and my other 65 year old manager stood up for me and said "he works his ass off and is nice all the time!" and she's always so sweet and I couldn't even picture her saying that so when I heard she said that I laughed.

Thankfully, she is temporarily at another store for awhile because another manager quit there.
