I gotta mention that I've never really heard Kshatriya or Ecryptus nor seen them live. So I can't really judge either of those.
I am in this same boat.
These niggas need to come by the show.

im pretty suprised if anyone who posts on this board has never seen nor heard kshatriya considering they have opened for like every big death metal band. the list is too long to even start.

Kshatriya is the permanent opening band for any death metal band that will draw a crowd, lol. They have played with just about every band under the sun.

Never said it was. I was refering to the fact that they were not from Atlanta and have no ties to this town in any way, So why consider them local? Thats all I was saying.

Oh, I was just going by the first post in the thread. It said Georgia bands, not necessarily Atlanta bands only

Considering I don't have a car and get to venues when the bus says I can, it's actually pretty easy to understand.

Never heard them....website or place where songs can be downloaded? The fact that they have opened for every big death metal band tells me nothing.

haha yeah me too! well, I was with you guys pretty much that whole weekend.
as far as the best local metal bands, Demoncy, Hallow's Eve, and Burial Rites (the last time I saw them , they sounded aweful though), and Apocalyptic Visions (saw them live once and they fuckin' killed!). That band need to play more shows...they hardly ever play any shows.

I really did have a lot of fun that weekend. Maybe now it wont be a given that were not going to sound good live.
I wish I could have seen Demoncy more than once, and the time I saw them I only got to see part of their set.

It never gets old you saying how bad Burial Rites sounds does it?
