As far as weighing the Tech/Georgia contest, wait until it's the week of the game and we see the spread.
Well Duke got there ass handed to them saturday by Miami. Now as far as being in a pussy conference thats bullshit, the same saying can go for SEC. Yeah I suppose Virgina Tech is a pussy team along with Clemson and FSU. Hell you might as well throw GA tech in there too. I can't wait for Miami to completely own Ga Tech. Ga Tech has completely bombed this year haha no pun intended.

Virginia Tech is a pussy team?! Apparently you know as much about football as you do about being funny.
What's VA Tech's rank? Oh that's right #3 in both polls. What's FSU's rank? #4 in the AP and #5 in the USA today. And both are undefeated.
You're an idiot.

See it's like this:
Quality teams in the ACC before miami and va tech? FSU.

Quality teams in the SEC? Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, LSU, Alabama, Auburn.

I rest my case. (check the rankings if you don't believe me)

Yes Miami and Va Tech are good teams, but they chose to compete in a sorry football conference. They can't hang with the big dawgs and they won't if they end up playing anyone in the SEC.
Fuck it, Dude, let's go bowling.

You actually think anyone in the SEC can beat Va Tech?

You forgot Boston College, who is ranked higher than Tenn and Auburn.

LSU i'm just not impressed with yet. If they beat Florida fine, but otherwise they played no one that's realy tough and when they did they lost to Tenn.

And Auburn? They lost to Tech and have only beaten football giants such as Ball St., Miss St., SC, and W Kentucky.

So in reality we're looking at
SEC: Georgia, Florida, Alabama, LSU(for now), Tennesee(who should be higher probably)
ACC: Miami, FSU, Va Tech, BC
That's 5 teams vs. 4, with the one team being questionable, essentially making it even.

boston college is in the ACC??!? I'm not real sure how i missed that happening.

Also I was more referring to the perennial dominance of those teams (should've clarified) - obviously Auburn isn't doing great this year and LSU has looked real good and pretty bad, often in the same game. And even the shitty teams in the SEC put up a fight. Not so for the ACC.

Yes, UGA would beat VA Tech, and on a good night, so would Florida and maybe even Bama this year.
Fuck it, Dude, let's go bowling.

Everyone ready for the Miami and GA tech game this weekend. Mighty funny how things have turned out for this shitty Miami team. Where is GA tech in the AP(as of right now).

I think the Kentucky/gagger game will be the better game of the two.

So much for all my grand predictions. Go Dawgs! anyway though. If we can get our shit together and quit this pussyass playcalling I think we've got a shot at the SEC championship (thanks a ton, S. Carolina). Miami will destroy Tech, and then Georgia will the week after.

Yes I agree poor GA tech was looking to win the last few games. Oh well there is always next year. Actually I made a bet with one of my friends that Miami will have a better winning record than the dawgs. So far I am ahead. I really don't have anything against the dawgs just braging rights I guess. Although I would like to see Miami and the dawgs play each other.

And Tech will continue to suck for years to come...
NCAA violations

Well, at least the whole world will now know about the assholes that run Georgia Tech.

We definitely have our "student-athletes" cheat their way through school just like everywhere else, I guess we were just better at hiding it until now. I remember in my accounting class sophomore year being in a study group for our final that included two football players, they were showing us a "practice final" they had that miraculously turned out to be the exact same word-for-word copy of our real final exam. What luck!

I think also we had some dude on the football team also get re-instated after being kicked off the team for conspiring to sell 96 pounds of pot for a drug ring out in California.

...maybe Tech really is trying to compete with the Florida States and Miamis of the football world. So far we've only got one felon on the team though, so we've got a long way to go yet.

Greg, the guy who was helping to set up a deal that involved 94lbs of pot was forced back into school by the courts.
