Happy fuckin New Year! I spent my new year's eve at the Darkside...I saw Infernal Machine and Colossick. Infernal Machine was awesome! I'll have to go see them again...and you guys should check 'em out if you haven't already!

I spent my new year's with my friend in the ER getting his eyebrow stitched up after his girlfriend caught him making out with some other girl and then smacked him in the face. I asked them if I could get a pre-emptive spot on the liver transplant list while I was there but they weren't having it.

To make things worse I was taking a piss at a bar in the Highlands right at midnight and didn't even realize it. I came out to the bathroom hallway to hear everyone yelling "3! 2! 1!" and thought "fuck... guess I'll try again next year".

I also found out that wearing dog tags to a bar makes people think you're in the army and they want to buy you beers, let you cut in line to the front, talk to any girls they're with, etc. At first I felt guilty about it, but after about the 6th time it happened and about 10 rum & cokes I figured hey, I may be on to something here, better enjoy it while it lasts.
