Yes, that is exactly what i'm saying.palace101 wrote:So what your saying is movies don't have a script?
But actually some great movies have been made with no real script just notes.
And I'd say lots of other things matter in a movie like the music, sound, lighting, camera-technique, acting, gore-effects for horror, just to name a few things.

Actually Tarantino didnt do shit. He didnt produce or direct it. Its just like when that movie HERO came out with all that stupid asian shit and everyone thought it was Tarantino's creation. He basically says he likes the movie and that they are allowed to put his name on it, so people will go see the fuckin move. SOOOOOOOOO Quentin Tarantino presents.....HOSTEL. good movie, liked the ending.

Executive Producer usually means large sums of money were involved, and not necessarily any work.
In this case, dude had nothing to do with the film until it was already completed.
He did the same thing with Hero.
Not exactly. Him and Eli Roth are friends. Eli came up with the idea and told Quentin about it in his pool. And Quentin said that's sick you need to make it I'll help you.holly wrote:He was.TheKshatriya wrote:In the opening credits it said tarintino was an exec producer... i think that was it, i could be wrong. But yeah, all of this confusion about who directed it would be easily resolved if people had better reading comprehension and used imdb.com
Regardless of if he knew about it before or after, he still didn't do anything but provide money.Mike wrote:Not exactly. Him and Eli Roth are friends. I've read around because I was wondering what he actually did, and found site after site to confirm his mere monetary involvement.
