Twenty-four hours of WREKage on 6/6/06

I'm cross-posting this here for people who might not read the WREKage Forum... We've been given permission to run WREKage from midnight through 10pm on Tuesday, 6/6/06....then Live at WREK will feature a local metal band, From Exile, and then we'll finish off the day. This is a first for Atlanta radio and possibly the first time it's been done in the country (although some stations like WSOU are metal during much of their day, they don't broadcast as much death or black metal). In short, this has never been done before and after it's over, I'm sure we WREKage hosts will swear on a stack of Necronomicons it will never happen again.

We've also started a topic down below for your earlybird requests for this special show. Since we don't expect you or your tape-recorder to listen to the entire broadcast, you can specify a particular block of time during which you'd like to hear your requests.

This is gonna rule. \m/

No idea, but extra bodies would be welcome.

Local bands are also invited to drop by...although if everyone dropped by at once, it might get a little crowded.

When I wrote that I had a specific person in mind...it was at a party and this dude started one in this tiny room that was crowded (a shitty band was playing) and he fell on the drum set and part of it broke.

Everything we do at the station is archived & able to be saved...

I think he meant pre-recorded, as in us being pre-recorded like I had to do in my non-driving days.

As far as I know us and a few special guest hosts are all gonna be live the entire 24 hours. We're in the process of scheduling time for everyone right now.
