666 at Drunken Unicorn update + other shows of interest.

Post by TIGHT_BROS » Tue May 23rd, 2006, 4:52 pm

Hey guys! Here?s the updated info for the forthcoming 666 show at Drunken Unicorn. It is highly suggested that you show up for this event early before doors open. Unfortunately, Zoroaster has to cancel due to another booking out of town, however, there's a special treat in store for you after Kylesa plays. I can't say who or what, but trust me it is gonna be stupid. Really stupid in a good way, though.

I also have some other shows listed which may interest some of you. Let me know what you think!

Tuesday June 6 at Drunken Unicorn
6/6/06 Prophecy on Ponce
Featuring:
Kylesa
Doomsayer
Withered
Crimes

doors open at 9pm

Saturday July 8 at Drunken Unicorn
The Dumps (from Athens)
God's Temple of Family Deliverance
Hematavore

Saturday July 15

Doomsayer

Thursday September 21 at Drunken Unicorn
Relapse Records Contamination Tour!
Unearthly Trance
Facedowninshit
Rumpelstiltskin Grinder
Fuck the Facts
Withered

$8
uhhh. Let's Rock?

Fuck yeah - the Dumps are fantastic, and probably would appeal to a lot folks that post here. I'll probably try and make all of them (except the 666 show because I'll be DJing)
Fuck it, Dude, let's go bowling.

How was Deadbird? What I heard on CD wasn't too promising (not very well produced), but I'm kinda curious since I'm a long-ago friend of Chuck Schaaf's....

Seriously, if you guys have any brains in your heads, you'll take the advice and be at the 666 show. All of the bands are making extra special effort for the show and the promised surprise is something that few want to miss and many will regret for not being there. Withered is super stoked to be a part of it and I would be there at all costs even if we weren't playing in zoroaster's absence.

Later,
Mike

I hope y'all still bring the pain this Friday at Tasty World. I'll be DJing all day so I've gotta miss the 666 show.

That's what I'm thinking. I missed Kylesa the last time they came around.

Yeah, I hate competing with all the good dudes in marietta. It's too counter-productive.

I am, however, EXTREMELY stoked about our show. Kylesa is now rocking with 2 drummers and it's very cool. If any of you guys are into doom/rock/metal in that vein, you won't be disappointed that night. Not just because of Kylesa but in general. It looks like there will be lots of theatrics too from a couple of the bands. Doomsayer has a top secret stage show planned. We're gonna get crusty and evil, and the grand finale for the show will be huge. I know I've already said this shit but I am chompin at the bit for this one. Hell, I'm taking the 7th off of work cause I know it'll be a good one.

Seriously, listen to Witherd when he mentions a grand surprise not to be missed at this event. All I can say is get there early to insure entry.
