He was just screwing around at soundcheck and it was amazing. Easily the best drummer I've ever seen in person. He was doing some crazy off-time accenting during the blasts on "Infidel." Who is the live singer for Vital Remains? I thought it was going to be Glen Benton

I dont think they were here in Atlanta, they will be here in October though. I was spinning Dechristianize yesterday. Infidel is awesome but my favorite has to be either the title track or the last two songs on the record. good band.

i bet they were in FL. EJ lives like 3 miles from there i think. Dechristianize is a great album but slightly over rated compared to let us prey, dawn of the apocalypse, and into cold darkness. All VR is really fucking good

Saw them last weekend at the Deathfest and I couldn't have given less of a shit.
They played after Haemorrhage and Demilich if that gives you any indication why.

Yup. They'll be here anyway so I decided to spend the time hanging out with friends I haven't seen in a long while.

Yeah, it was in Jacksonville...
Dawn of Azazel was really good, too. Kinda like a better Hate Eternal. We talked to them after their set and didn't communicate too well, despite the fact that we were all speaking English. Attendance was shitty, probably 30 or less, and I've been there when there were like 150 people before.
