Requests for the 6/6/06 show

Since this is gonna be a loooong 24 hours of metal, we thought we'd start taking requests early for it, so...put 'em here!

Include the band, song title, CD title, and a 3-hour block of time during which you'd like it played: mid-3am, 3am-6am, 6am-9am, 9am-noon, noon-3pm, 3pm-6pm, 6pm-10pm*, and 11pm-midnight. Multiple requests are fine. You can also send them to us at requests@wrekage.org .

Try to make them reasonably metal and WREKage-y, and make 'em reasonably 'clean' (i.e., no swearing..or at least no audible swearing ) You can look up songs and bands on the playlists on the site if you're not sure....chances are, if we've played it before, we can play it again.

This is going to be a HELL of a day.

Okay, new rule: for all requests submitted without a block of time specified, we'll play 'em at, like, 6am.

I second the Onward to Golgotha in toto request, and since no time was specified, let's be reasonable and say the 6-10pm block. You can fill in the rest of the hour with Slayer's Reign in Blood album, unless you'll have already played their entire catalogue by then.

After trolling the WREKage library, I've come up with a few other requests. If you play them, feel free to stick them in the noon-3pm hour. Sounds random enough to me.

Origin - "Staring from the Abyss" - Echoes of Decimation
Rotting Christ - "Archon" - Triarchy of the Lost Lovers
Sinister - anything from the Hate cd, please

There are a few other bands I've been wanting to hear, but I'm not familiar enough with their songs to pick a title blindly (or deafly). If I use that CDDB thing, I'll probably accidentally request some lame 2-minute instrumental. So let these be dj's discretion:

Well, I've never heard of this NO! band, and I'd love to play Tool all 24 hours, but we're kinda shooting for diversity here.
