Kendall just won & I hate Ed Hermann, so I'm annoyed that Dana White awarded contracts to both of them.

Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut!
I'm excited to see Bisping kick Haynes' ass.
We will see if that happens...

the kendall vs. ed fight was excellent. i think that ed earned the contract....even if i don't like him all that much.

bisping was obviously going to kick the shit out of josh "streak mark in my" haynes. bisping will be an instant contender if he drops down to 185. he is too small to compete at 205 but a badass none the less. i think that he is the best TUF fighter that has come from any of the seasons.

this was overall a good three hours of fighting. i enjoyed all the fights.

next week is ULTIMATE FIGHT NIGHT. and chris leben is going to get his ass handed to him by anderson silva. don't fall into the TUF hype. leben has nothing compared to silva.

Id have to disagree with the Kendall decision,Ed won that fight.
And ya Bisping is bad ass he was by far the best one on the show.

i think that the ed/kendall fight was razor close. but after watching it again i have to agree with the decision. i had forgotten that kendall had ed locked up tight in an armbar for over a minute in the first round. not to mention tied up in two tight triangles in the second and then that nice RNC for the last minute of the fight. ed had a few nice attempts but none were as close to ending the fight as kendall's attempts were.

takedowns - ed(had quite a few)
standing - kendall(nice knees)
ground and pound - ed
subs - kendall

with it being that close and the fight ending up with ed almost getting choked unconscience i can see where kendall got the win. it could have gone either way though.

Hey you know they are showing alot of old pride fights on FSN this week. I can't fucking wait to see the July 8th fight. Any predictions?

july 8th predictions....

Sylvia vs. Arlovski = ARLOVSKI! the last fight was stopped premature and arlovski is by far the superior fighter.

Ortiz vs. Shamrock = SHAMROCK! i know that tito handed shamrock his ass last time but i have a gut feeling that if shamrock comes into the fight inshape he will be victorious. just watch some of kens fights in PRIDE(vs. fujita, vs. frye) and you can see that ken still has some tricks up his sleeve. he lost both of those fights but he was kicking the shit out of fujita and then had a mild heartattack that caused him to not be able to continue. he was actually the closest fighter to ever knocking fujita out....not even FEDOR could do that. and he was robbed against frye. both of those fighters hit a lot harder than tito could ever dream and they are both big heavyweights. if he wins he should retire on the spot.....if he loses he should retire on the spot.

Christison vs. Mir = MIR. no contest. i see this ending within 2 minutes with Mir stopping him by submission.

Burkman vs. Neer = Burkman. but this is going to be an awesome fight. both of these guys are good on the ground and brawlers on the feet. i'm excited about this one.

Edwards vs. Stevenson = DAMN! i didn't even know that this fight was happening until right now. this will be an awesome fight as well. yves edwards is a badass but so is joe stevenson. i think i'll go with STEVENSON. he is just much stronger and has the better overall game but edwards is one of the best strikers in the UFC.

Franca vs. Huerta = FRANCA.

Monson vs. Perosh = MONSON. he is the soon to be heavyweight champion of the UFC.

i don't know much about the other fights so i can't give any predictions.

PRIDE OWGP predictions......July 2nd

Yoshida vs. CroCop = CROCOP!

Nogueira vs. Werdum = toss up.....werdum is a future star but nogueira used to be unstoppable and has an iron chin.....but he hasn't fought in a while. if i had to give a prediction i'd go with NOGUEIRA.

Barnett vs. Hunt = this is going to be the standup war of the year. both of these guys hit like trucks and have iron chins. i'd put my money on HUNT.

Fujita vs. Silva = SILVA....SILVA....SILVA! wandy has some aggression built up from fighting arona and having to worry about arona's groundgame but fujita will stand with him. fujita is virtually UN'ko'able but wandy will be so aggressive that at some point the fight will be stopped due to major bleeding and broken ribs and facial bones.

i'm not really concerned with the non-tourney fights. i hope vitor wins but other than that i don't really care.

he is tough, but a horrible fighter in my opinion. he throws looping punches with no snap and has been shown to get his ass handed to him on the ground. i've tried to like him but i just am not that impressed with his skill set. anderson silva is not only one of the most dangerous strikers in MMA but he is also a black belt in BJJ. i just don't see a way leben can win this fight.

I agree with the retirment clause but I'll pick Ortiz for the win. unless Ortiz decides to let him retire w/ a victory...
