NEW SPAWN OF POSSESSION CD

Post by Asrynth » Sun July 2nd, 2006, 8:03 pm

I just got a copy of the New Spawn of Possession record "Noctambulant" and if you dont have it you need it.

This CD is incredibly awesome and masterful in its way. The best way I can describe it is Psycroptic Meets Necrophagist, with better songwriting and more creativity if that is even possible.

In my mind this exceeds Cabinet and everything else they have done. I also will say this is one of the finest utilizations of the 7 string guitar in metal in a long time.

This Moves instantly lightyears past everything else to my favorite release of 2006.

You guys really should give this a listen.

Those two songs that I've downloaded from their web site sound pretty good. I shall buy it. 8)

i listened to this suggestion and went out and "got" both cd's by them.

awesome band. first cd is good, but the newest is pretty captivating. i was highly impressed that anyone can rival the likes of necrophagist (proabably a bold statement considering i havent heard of half the bands around). I LOVE BANDS LIKE THIS.....if there are any more bands playing extremely technical death metal like this please let me know. the only bands that i know of that are this good are arsis, and necrophagist.....

btw... if anyone knows when necrophagist or arsis are coming out with another cd....let me know about that also!?!?!
