The oct 4th date is still TBD so maybe the whole tour will still make it here and play the Gwinnett arena after all.

Dammit! Why the hell are all the good shows on weeknights? I missed Morbid Angel because of its being on a weeknight. Slayer too, and the last 2 Opeth shows as well. If I lived in Atlanta it would be no problem but the 2-hour drive when I have to get up in the morning is just too much.

That's okay because the Dismember, Grave... show is the next day (Friday) at Swayze's and Mastodon is back at the Masq the next day (Saturday).

Although Opeth can really put on a great live show.

 damn that really sucks! maybe you should go into work late or take the day off so you can sleep. It's not like you'll be doing that everyday.
They had you do a drug test and the forgot to test for drugs???

I would but the bosses are kind of anal about tardiness, and I've used up my vacation time. Well at least Opeth seems to come by here quite frequently. Slayer, well I've seen them a long time ago and I can take or leave 'em for the most part. I'm more pissed about missing Morbid Angel than anything since they seem to tour through here only once in a blue moon. It sucks being so far from Atlanta in many ways,,, if anyone knows of any graphics job openings please let me know! Hell, I'll go back to doing straight admin assistant stuff even. I'm so ready to move back to where there is something going on. :\

lamb of god and opeth are 2 of my favorite bands lately. i liked ghost reveries and damnation a lot, and ashes of the wake and as the palaces burn. i'm still trying to get into sacrament, haven't yet.

im just hoping gigantour still comes through. if not i'll go to this

From Exile is playing downstairs at 8 for atlantis music fest; if anyone shows up to the show early, come listen to us before Lamb of god and opeth go on.... if you're into those bands enough to drop 28$, you would probably be interested. it kinda sucks becuase the atlantis music fest stage was originally going to be upstairs until the Masq booked this show, but then again, there are going to be a ton of metal fans there, so hopefully we will catch some ears as people are walking in....
