The Masquerade
Hey all -- I'm new to posting but have been lurking here for some time.
I'm wondering -- I purchased some tickets for a show at the Masquerade some time ago through their PayPal thing, and I haven't received them.
Anybody had any experience with this before?

I did call and that is correct. I don't think they even issue tickets -- rather, I think they just maintain a list, sort of like a guest list. Anyway, I'm definitely relieved. I bought the tickets back in May for the Celtic Frost show coming up. I was afraid that maybe they came in the mail and, in a less than insightful moment, I accidentally threw them away.
Does anyone have any solid information on the perennial rumors that the Masquerade is going to relocate?

oh yeah I remember that. I think I've seen a few other bands there that said the same thing a while back.Knucklehead wrote:I caught the Kreator/Naplam Death show, and even Barnie was saying (from the stage) that he thought it was a shame that the place was closing.

My friends' band Bella Morte played "the last Halloween show ever" at the Masquerade...two years ago.

Tim told me at Dragon*Con that the Masquerade has now set a date in 2007.
Maybe Ozzy can have his last show of a Retirement tour at the last Masquerade show...WREKage-Paul wrote:AmoebicDysentery wrote:I wonder if everyone will come out this year for the 4th annual "last Halloween show at the Masquerade EVER"!![]()
Yep.

I still have found memories of his 1992 No More Tours Tour. Motorhead was opening and I was interviewing Lemmy. They had a headlining show scheduled at Masquerade after my interview would air so when I plugged the show, Lemmy's response was "Masquerade? Sounds like a friggin gay bar!"
