LOL funny...
however, the people who published that Xray photo could be sued by that woman for violation of her HIPAA rights, unless that photo was faked.

Not if they don't publish her name along with the photo, I think.

Either way, EGADS!

your right about that rambler it would have been illegal if they published her name and photo or maybe just name. My G/F is a nurse I will have to ask her but I think that's just about right

Hmm my bosses are a nurse and an attorney, I'll have to ask them too... you're probably right tho. I still find that hard to believe, tho, that she could have that thing up in there. Must have been fucking uncomfortable!

So the ususal work-up was begun: CT scan of the brain, blood tests, etc. Also, an X-ray of the abdomen
Any idea how much all that would cost you or me if we needed it for legit medical reasons? Even w/ insurance, between deductibles and such it still adds up. Why is all that "usual" with tax dollars for an uncooporative bitch jammin crack up her cooch???

I had a CT scan of my neck back in 86 or 87 after an xray made the doctors think there was a fractured vertebra (auto accident). I had an HMO that paid it all but they sent me the EOB that showed it to be almost $1,500. For one of my boss' clients who had a hip replacement and had a pelvic CT scan it was about $2,800 I think. And that is per image; they usually do 2 or three just to get different angles.
