is the new cradle of filth any good?
I heard a track and I'm not sure, but I think I heard him singing?!?!?
or is that some sort of back up vocalist?

The one track I've heard on WREK was really good. If you like the band, you'll most likely dig the new disc.
Let the joyous celebrations of Hell begin!

Katatonia - The Great Cold Distance (killer album, check my review of it)
Decapitated - Organic Halluicinosis
Sinister - Afterburner
Isis - Celestial
The Project Hate MCMXCIX - Armageddon March Eternal (first band with female vocals I've liked since... hmm... maybe ever)

I liked most of Thornography, but the spoken word parts are beyond lame. There are some surprisingly catchy tunes that I really like, but the album seems rather uneven to me.

Hmmm, Ville Valo guests on one track, but it's kinda hard to tell. Haven't played that one on WREKage 'cause it's not FCC-clean.

Concur with the "spoken words are beyond lame" comment, but there are some good songs....and even some we can play on the air. :D

About as good as can be expected. If only the Damnation and a Day lineup was still together...

Recent stuff for me:
Brutality When the Sky Turns Black
Kreator Extreme Aggression
Abysmal Torment Epoch of Methodic Carnage
Amoebic Dysentery Hospice Orgy
Dismember Like an Ever Flowing Stream
Duobetic Homunkulus mp3s
new Weird Al
