Cool news; we'll see ya there. Most of the current WREKage staff will be there...some for Moonspell, some for Katatonia, and some for both.

bashing matt cause he doesnt have a band is kinda lame. most people in atlanta listen to weak metal, something metal is very much not supposed to be. there are no brutal death, thrash, or just death metal bands in atlanta. he just likes to voice his opinion when a band is weak and lame. not saying sybaritic is, ive never listened to them, but i know their drummer is pretty good.

Are you going to sell them the day of the show, outside the venue?

So what's the best new subgenre of metal now? You're runing out of unexploited bands that have more than demo tapes to speak of. You guys best not tell anybody what your current metal flavor is or its going to catch on just like when you know you all liked melodic stuff. lest some core bands inject it into their new joint! then all you'll have left to listen to is AGGRO-TECH-POLKA!!! HA

by the way, Sybaritic is about the closest thing to a thrash band in atlanta without sounding like they wished it was 1986.
And the reason there are no brutal death bands to speak of is because there is no type of music full of more divas than deathmetal...

I personally think metal (with the exception of traditional heavy metal like maiden and priest) should be pushed to the limit of intensity and brutality. Melodic shit makes metal weak and watered down.
Everytime I say that people just tell me im too close minded, but classical music is my favorite type of music and maiden is my favorite band ever, so I dont just listen to thrash and brutal death.

I just listened to Sybaritic and it wasnt bad, not into the vocals or the melodic parts. Mike is a killer drummer. Still not my style, but i would say the best metal band in atlanta.
