beneath the massacre- evidence of inequality
celtic frost- montheist
cynic- focus (i am trying to get into this album but i keep asking myself why this band was alway brought up next to the almighty DEATH or why this band is so highly respected...i mean i love the music but that fucking voice machine is annoying)
daughters- hell songs
the esoteric- subverter
the faceless- akeldama ( this is a new band for me,...anyway...a great tech death album for the new year)
gaza- i dont care where i go when i die
gummo soundtrack- (the bands i dig the most on this album are...absu, spazz, bethlehem, mortician, mystifier...if anyone is familiar with these bands please reccomend some albums by these artists)
the haunted- self-titled
in battle- welcome to the battlefield
joanna newsom- mile-eyed mender ( i like this album a lot...in my opinion it is way better than "Ys")
martyr- warp zone, and feeding the abscess
melechesh- emissaries
radiohead- amnesiac
toby driver- in the l.l.library loft
the tony danza tapdance extravaganza- self-titled
unreal overflows- architecture of incomprehension
visceral bleeding- absorbing the disarray

because cynic had 4 demos that had no vocal effects on them , and the later cynic sound, 89-91 highly influenced DEATH to become more technical, which is why human can be called a cynic rip off, plus it has cynic bassist and drummer on the damn album, never the less both great bands and cds.... i'd chose death over all since they had more material, but id chose cynic demos and focus over human and especially individual thought patterns.... cynic was so fucking good........

for me lately....
internal bleeding
bowels out
deaden
smashing pumpkins
disgorge mex (new cd is damn good, even with antimo)
plerosis
other typical and usual shit...

this is something kind of related to the other thread...

I've been on this kick lately...I've been listening to bands like Impaled, Carcass, and The County Medical Examiners...all bands who name their solos, use anatomical jargon in all their songs and who have that distinguished death/ grind sound to them. Good stuff!
They had you do a drug test and the forgot to test for drugs???

And because I want to, I'm going to quote myself and also nominate Daath and From Exile. Discuss.
