The original song kicks ass for back then too, except that its about 1/2 hour long, but then when it came out everyone was on acid anyway, so they probably didn't htink it was long enough heh.BlazeTSU wrote:it's on one of the discs in the box set. i'm pretty sure its on the "shit you've never heard" disc......disc 3 or 4ProstheticHead12 wrote:What album is that on? hell yes it does! I have the original on vinyl as well as the Slayer version...I used to listen to the original alot when I was getting high all the time back in high school.kfoll wrote:The original song kicks ass for back then too, except that its about 1/2 hour long, but then when it came out everyone was on acid anyway, so they probably didn't htink it was long enough heh.BlazeTSU wrote:it's on one of the discs in the box set. i'm pretty sure its on the "shit you've never heard" disc......disc 3 or 4ProstheticHead12 wrote:What album is that on? They had you do a drug test and the forgot to test for drugs???
That's awesome! Iron Butterfly were way ahead of their time, as were a few others I remember the songs to but not the band names. It's kind of amazing how this stuff keeps coming back to each new generation, and yet it doesnt seem to get talked about as much as say Black Sabbath.Metalfreak wrote:hell yes it does! Another dude from the 60s I really dig -- not metal at all, but really good to get high to, is Donovan... you know, "They call me mellow yellowwwww!"
