if that is true, that makes 9 bands for the show! I suppose it's gonna be an all day thing or something close to it. either that or each band is gonna play for 15 - 30 minutes. But I am all for it!
They had you do a drug test and the forgot to test for drugs???

Necrophagist Drummer Schedules U.S. Clinics
posted Friday, April 13, 2007 at 04:19:22 PM by zMETALlica. (thanks Blabbermouth)

Last week German death metal band NECROPHAGIST announced the addition of world-renowned drummer Marco Minnemann to its lineup. Minnemann will begin playing drums for NECROPHAGIST on the band's upcoming headlining North American tour, dubbed "Summer Slaughter Tour", also featuring labelmates CEPHALIC CARNAGE as well as DECAPITATED, ION DISSONANCE, CATTLE DECAPITATION, ARSIS and more.

The "Summer Slaughter Tour" will begin June 1 and is sponsored by Revolver magazine, Ibanez Guitars, Tama Drums, Fixion Media and Jaxprints. Prior to the start of the "Summer Slaughter Tour", Minnemann will perform select NECROPHAGIST songs at his upcoming drum clinics.

After establishing a reputation in his home country, Germany, in the late '90s, Marco began instructing solo workshops. Highlights included the Frankfurt Music Fair, PASIC in Dallas, and a solo performance at the "Modern Drummer Festival" in Toronto, where Marco had the honor of being the first German drummer to display his talents there. This performance, in the eyes of professionals and music trade magazines, catapulted him into the Top Ten of the drumming world. Following Drumfest, appearances included the Australian TUDW fest and the Montreal Drumfest in Canada.

Marco's influences are quite diverse, and up to this point most of his work has included collaborations with many of jazz and funk's leading musicians. Marco also co-produced and played instruments on Paddy Kelly's (Kelly Family) solo CD which entered the charts in 2004 and played on the double platinum CD "Nena feat Nena". Marco also performed and recorded with artists such as: PAUL GILBERT, NENA, UDO LINDENBERG, H-BLOCKX, MIKE KENEALLY, FFW, GIANNA NANNINI, GARRY WILLIS, THE KELLY FAMILY and many more.

MARCO MINNEMANN drum clinics:

April 14 - Sioux Falls, SD - Sioux Falls Music
April 15 - Bozeman, MN - Music Villa
April 17 - Chico, CA - Harried Music
April 18 - San Jose, CA - Lemmon Percussion
April 19 - Las Vegas, NV - Sam Ash
April 21 - Albuquerque, NM - Grandma's
April 22 - Denver, CO - Rupp's

So, the Masq site lists the show as clubwide...does that mean that bands are going to be playing at the same time? I wouldn't mind missing some of the bands due to no interest or already having seen them, but I don't want to have to make a decision between say, seeing Decapitated and Arsis or Cephalic Carnage and Necrophagist.

hmmm...probably. Hopefully one band will play in heaven then as soon as that band gets off stage, another band goes on in hell and it alternates like that...

CRAP they don't have any good shipping methods that don't cost insane amounts on Ticketmaster anymore. Please tell me you can pay at the door at the Masquerade.

Necrophagist is having problems getting into the US. Hopefully they'll be here by the Atlanta show.
